Board Game Immersion is run by Benjamin Kocher. Benjamin got his start in immersing himself in board games by writing stories inspired by some of his favorite games. While these stories stand on their own—even without having played the games they’re based on—the use of the game mechanics, theme, and gameplay add for an even deeper dive into those worlds.
He got his start reviewing games in 2017 with Everything Board Games. Now, he’s branched off to do his own thing in an attempt for ultimate immersion in the board game world. With reviews both written and through video, cinematic photos of gameplay, captivating storytelling through written word, and many more types of content, Board Game Immersion is your home when you want to get lost in your favorite games.
Since then, he has taken to rule book editing as a freelancer, working with established companies—such as Petersen Games—and one-time Kickstarter projects from budding designers.
